E-Mobility

E-MOBILITY

Development scenarios in Italy and development perspectives in the Liguria Region

Friday 23rd November
8.30 a.m.– 1.30 p.m.
Salone di Rappresentanza, Palazzo Tursi

Introduction

Analysts say alternative traction mobility – hybrid and all kind of electric traction- is increasing, but doubts persist over the growth rate of this increase, which depends especially on service stations and on the change of consumers’ habits.

A widespread electric mobility in the urban context will soothe some of the issues linked to vehicular traffic, as acoustic and atmospheric pollution. From a technologic point of view, a full electric city car is possible and will be soon affordable by citizens. To seize the moment in the most tangible way, public and private recharging infrastructures are a fundamental prerequisite, considering that domestic recharge is still a minor possibility, and the availability of fast recharge infrastructures is crucial to reduce the number of needed platforms.

The session will present the innovations of the field with some hi-tech best practices and the evolution of regional and municipal plans for the development of urban electric mobility.
